Here's and adorable pair of nisser or tomtar, depending on your persuasion. They're made of wood (body, hands, heads). Their clothing is all knitted, except that each has a felt heart patch on the front. Their faces are painted.  The girl has blond bangs and braids made of string, with red string ties at the ends. They both have nice tall red knitted cap. They measure 4 high.
